YOUR DAILY PROMPT
Briefing ID: 26-157
Status: Confidential
Some of the most useful advice I gave our hiring managers at a large credit union was to listen closely to the questions candidates asked at the end of an interview. A candidate who asked only about salary and vacation days might be interested or might be shopping. A candidate who asked what the first 90 days would look like, who they would work with, or how soon we could make a decision was usually already picturing themselves in the job.
Those questions told us more about where someone stood than anything they said when we asked about their interest directly. Our best hiring managers adjusted their pace based on them.
Funny enough, customers do the same thing. Early questions tend to be broad, such as what something does or roughly what it costs. As interest grows, the questions get specific and practical, about implementation timelines, contract terms, who else uses it, or how billing works. Those practical questions are easy to answer and forget, even though they can be the clearest sign that someone is getting close to a decision.
Today, AI can help you see the pattern across many conversations at once. Give it a batch of customer questions from emails, chat logs, or call notes, and it can sort them by likely buying stage, highlight the questions that tend to come right before a purchase, and suggest a next step for each stage. Over time, that gives your team a shared guide for reading interest instead of relying on instinct alone.
Treat these signals as clues rather than conclusions. A detailed question might come from a researcher with no budget, and some ready buyers ask very little. Use the guide to decide where to spend your attention, and let the customer set the pace.
Today's brief helps you find the buying signals hidden in your customers' questions so that you can turn them into more revenue.

HOW TO USE THIS BRIEF
🧭 Reading an AIQ Brief
Every Master Prompt in AIQ with Paul is written as an AIQ Brief. Each section answers a question AI needs answered before it can do good work for you.

Context tells AI what the situation is and who the work is for. Intent says what the result must accomplish, and Constraints list what cannot change or is off limits. Output describes what good looks like, and Check names what AI should show you and what you will verify before you use the result.
Fill in the brackets, run the brief, and treat the Check section as your to-do list once AI responds.
Take your skills beyond the brief. In my AIQ Advantage™ program, I teach working professionals how to build briefs into reusable workflows, check AI output before it goes out under their name, and decide where AI fits in their work. Learn more at AIQAdvantage.com
