YOUR DAILY PROMPT
Briefing ID: 26-144
Status: Confidential
Every HR team I have worked with had at least one emergency that showed up on schedule.
At one bank, ours arrived every other week. A new hire would start on a Monday, their paperwork would reach payroll a day too late, and by Thursday afternoon someone on my team was walking a manual check through approvals so a brand-new employee would not miss their first paycheck. We got very good at it. The check always went out, the new hire never knew how close it came, and the person who saved the day usually got a thank-you email from their manager.
That thank-you email was part of the problem. Because the save always worked, nobody stopped to ask why we needed one every other week. The real cause sat upstream in a hiring process that let start dates get set before the paperwork was complete, and it took us far too long to look there.
Recurring fire drills hide this way. Each one feels like a separate incident, the people who handle them are rewarded for speed, and the details live in scattered emails and chat threads that nobody ever reads side by side.
AI can do that side-by-side reading for you. Give it notes, emails, or tickets from the last several times the same problem flared up, and it can lay out a timeline for each one, show which conditions were present every time, and separate the trigger from the symptoms. It can also point out where your team's quick fix may be making the next fire more likely.
The decision about what to change still belongs to you. AI may point to a deadline, a handoff, or an approval step, but you know which of those you can change, who owns it, and what it will cost to fix properly instead of patching it again.
Today's brief helps you trace one recurring emergency back to its source and choose a fix that sticks.
Let's go raise your AIQ.

HOW TO USE THIS BRIEF
🧭 Reading an AIQ Brief
Every Master Prompt in AIQ with Paul is written as an AIQ Brief. Each section answers a question AI needs answered before it can do good work for you.

Context tells AI what the situation is and who the work is for. Intent says what the result must accomplish, and Constraints list what cannot change or is off limits. Output describes what good looks like, and Check names what AI should show you and what you will verify before you use the result.
Fill in the brackets, run the brief, and treat the Check section as your to-do list once AI responds.
Take your skills beyond the brief. In my AIQ Advantage™ program, I teach working professionals how to build briefs into reusable workflows, check AI output before it goes out under their name, and decide where AI fits in their work. Learn more at AIQAdvantage.com
