YOUR DAILY PROMPT
Briefing ID: 26-140
Status: Confidential
Some of my best business ideas started with a client saying, “While you’re here, could you also…”
Today, I still hear this after many of the AI training sessions I deliver. A client asks whether I could look at their AI policy, help a manager rewrite a job description, or sit in on a leadership meeting to answer questions. For a long time I treated those requests as favors. I said yes when I could, did the work, and moved on to my next engagement.
Eventually I noticed that the same three or four requests kept coming from my best clients, the ones who renewed, referred others, and trusted my judgment. They were telling me exactly what else they needed, and I was handing it out in bits and pieces without asking whether it should become a real service that not only adds value, but I can charge for.
Your organizations probably does the same thing. These “value” signals are scattered across account manager notes, support tickets, renewal conversations, and the extra requests your team quietly absorbs, so nobody ever sees them side by side.
Guess what? AI can bring those signals together. Give it anonymized notes from your strongest customer relationships, and it can group the recurring requests, separate one-off favors from repeated needs, and show which gaps appear across several accounts. It also catches customers describing the same need in different words, which is easy to miss when you read notes one at a time or your biases change the interpretation of what they were saying.
The decision about what to build, price, or decline stays with you. Some gaps are worth turning into a paid offering, some belong in your standard service, and some fall outside what you do well. AI can organize the evidence, but you know your capacity, your margins, and which work you actually want more of.
This is why I also partner with people and organizations who will handle AI consulting work from strategy to AI Agent development, as I have decided to not do that type of work as I stay focused on AI education.
Today’s brief helps you find the requests your best customers keep making and decide which ones deserve a closer look.
Let's go raise your AIQ.

A NOTE ON TODAY'S PROMPT
📋 Meet the AIQ Brief
If you have been reading AIQ with Paul for a while, today's Master Prompt will look a little different. Starting this week, every prompt is written as an AIQ Brief, the same format I now teach in the AIQ Advantage™ program.
The older prompts opened by giving AI a role and then spelled out every step. Today's AI tools plan their own steps well, so the most useful thing you can give them is what only you know, such as your situation, your standards, and the facts that cannot change. A brief covers what any capable new partner would need to know before starting the work.

Context describes the situation and who the work is for.
Intent says what the result must accomplish.
Constraints list the facts, limits, and boundaries that cannot change.
Output describes what good looks like, including its Voice, Tone, and Style.
Check names what AI should show you and what you will verify yourself.
You will also notice the prompts are shorter. Much of the old length went into telling AI how to work, and the brief spends those words on your situation instead.
Fill in the brackets the same way you always have, and give the Check section extra attention, since it tells you what to confirm before you use the result.
