YOUR DAILY PROMPT
Briefing ID: 26-152
Status: Confidential
As a CHRO, I sat through a lot of budget meetings where managers asked for more people. Most of the requests sounded just like the others: the team was overwhelmed, the work was increasing, and everyone was working too hard. While some of it may have been true, it was still not enough to convince the CEO and CFO.
What I did notice was the requests that got approved looked different. One operations manager came in with a single page showing how her team's hours were split across their main types of work, how volume had changed over two years, and which tasks had grown the fastest. She also showed what she had already tried, including two tasks she had moved to another team and a weekly report she had stopped producing altogether. The CFO asked two questions and approved the position.
That page she had put together was a capacity map. It shows how much work a team handles, where the time goes, and how much capacity is left, so the conversation moves from feelings to facts. Sometimes it proves you need help, and other times it shows that a few tasks are eating more time than they should, which you can often fix without a new hire.
AI now makes this much faster to build. Give it a list of your team's main activities with rough hours, volume trends, and any data you have, and it can organize the information into a clear picture, calculate how close the team is to full capacity using your numbers, and point out where work could be reduced or moved. It can also help you draft the summary for your request.
The estimates can vary widely and this is where your human judgment reigns supreme. AI will work with whatever hours you give it, so the map is only as honest as your inputs. Be sure to complete a quick check with your team before you present it.

HOW TO USE THIS BRIEF
🧭 Reading an AIQ Brief
Every Master Prompt in AIQ with Paul is written as an AIQ Brief. Each section answers a question AI needs answered before it can do good work for you.

Context tells AI what the situation is and who the work is for. Intent says what the result must accomplish, and Constraints list what cannot change or is off limits. Output describes what good looks like, and Check names what AI should show you and what you will verify before you use the result.
Fill in the brackets, run the brief, and treat the Check section as your to-do list once AI responds.
Take your skills beyond the brief. In my AIQ Advantage™ program, I teach working professionals how to build briefs into reusable workflows, check AI output before it goes out under their name, and decide where AI fits in their work. Learn more at AIQAdvantage.com
