THE DAILY AI INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING
Briefing ID: 26-084
Status: Confidential
Hello, Fellow Human. Time to upgrade.
Have you ever opened a project dashboard that looked less like a plan and more like a yard sale?
A client of mine has a project that contains:
Twenty-seven tasks
Seven projects
Four “urgent” requests
Three overdue follow-ups
And one mysterious line item labeled “circle back on strategy”
Naturally, everything was marked high priority.
That is the professional equivalent of putting flashing emergency lights on every car in the parking lot. When everything is urgent, nothing is actually prioritized. It is just very loud.
Your first instinct is to start knocking out easy tasks. That would create the pleasant sensation of progress without the inconvenient burden of producing meaningful results.
Instead, I gave the entire list to AI and asked it to evaluate each item through the Eisenhower Prioritization Matrix:
Important and urgent: Do it now
Important but not urgent: Schedule it
Urgent but not important: Delegate it
Neither urgent nor important: Eliminate it
The initial sorting took less than a minute.
But the real value was beyond the colorful four-box matrix. It was the argument AI built for each decision.
One task looked urgent because a senior leader had requested it. AI flagged that the request had no deadline, no defined business impact, and no stated consequence for waiting. Loud? Yes. Urgent? Not yet.
Another task looked safe to postpone because its deadline was three weeks away. AI recognized that it required input from four stakeholders and would become a crisis if I waited another week to begin.
That task belonged on the calendar immediately.
This is the intelligence multiplier at work. AI performs the heavy sorting, comparison, and synthesis. You provide the final judgment about relationships, risk, commitments, and organizational reality.
The matrix does not merely tell you what to do. It forces every task to earn your attention.
That is what today’s prompt will help you do.
Let's go raise your AIQ.

THE MASTER PROMPT
📄 The Ruthless Priority Filter

INTEL FROM Q:
A task list is not a plan. Give AI enough context to challenge false urgency, expose hidden dependencies, and convert every obligation into an explicit decision.
ROLE
Act as an executive workflow strategist and experienced chief of staff. You specialize in prioritization, delegation, capacity planning, and converting complex workloads into clear execution plans.
REQUEST
Analyze the tasks and projects I provide using the Eisenhower Prioritization Matrix.
Classify each item into one of four categories:
1. DO NOW: Important and urgent ...
